The Miniature American Shepherd is a rapidly growing & young breed within the American Kennel Club; it is ranked in the top 35 of all breeds by number of registered dogs and was recognized fully by AKC in 2015. The Miniature American Shepherd is found excelling in conformation, herding, agility, disc, scent work, barn hunt, FastCAT, obedience, rally, disc, dock diving, and nearly any sport they try.
